To kick off the next season and to celebrate how spring fashion trends are influencing our tastes in furniture and interiors - we decided to make some mood boards that encapsulated what we are most excited for.
Enjoy the mix of fabrics, shapes, and overall aesthetics that parallel our industry and the rest of the design world.

Five Fall Must Haves

LUUM TEXTILES: DOYENNE

Luum Textiles announced the introduction of Loom State - a new collection that builds upon past foundations of functional craft. Six new products in Loom State Collection designed by Suzanne Tick build upon past foundations of functional craft. Doyenne is one of our favorites because of it’s cleanability, durable nature, and great selection of solid but dynamic color ways by unifying the handwoven and manufacture processes. Doyenne offers bleach - cleanable feathered chenille with a soft tactile hand. The effortlessness of the weave structure highlights the plush blended yarn, creating a subtle movement and organic quality. The fabric is cross-dyed with high energy pigments that offer performance driven colorfastness. The color palette reflects the suppleness of the material with rich, earthy tones and lively neutrals.

DAVIS FURNITURE: M75 CHAIR

M75_Family_Lower_revised_website.jpg

M75, a modern updates to a Davis classic by Burkhard Vogtherr and Jonathan Prestwich. Adapted from the 1987 Motion chair by Burkhard Vogtherr - the M75 is a new evolution of the tradition executive chair built for the 21st century workplace. The geometry of the chair is designed so that the user acts as a counterweight for the movement of the seating mechanism. M75 is a great option for executive offices where users are sitting for long periods of time: the chair is intuitive and adjusts to the user creating an ideal ergonomic seating experience. M75 is also a great option for boardrooms and communal workspaces where many different users might sit in the chair in one day. The chair adapts to each user without the need for adjustment.

WINDFALL LUMBER: ENGINEERED PANEL

In addition to attaching directly to the walls and ceilings, D3 panels have become reception and bar fronts, benches, booths backs and upholstery. suspended ceiling panels, stadium style seating, room dividers, and shelving. D3 panels are made from reclaimed Douglas fir solid and glue laminated beams from deconstructed industrial, agricultural, and residential buildings in the pacific northwest. We LOVE this, not only for the good it does to the environment but the character that each piece innately has. Rigid 3/4’ panels can be used for walls, ceilings, fixture facing or as construction material, such for seating or cabinetry. The flexible 1/4’ thick panels can be applied to curved and flat surfaces. Available with a smooth surface in eight standard finishes! Each piece is unique and has imperfections that make it so - this is what creates such dynamic and rustic appeal to their designs.
